Iris door sensor 1st generation smartthings reset There was a fix in smartthings a few months ago to better recognize and pair the iris contact sensor. I do not own this video. They are the only ones I use. Now all of a sudden it’s only showing open and I cannot use it anymore. The documentation said I could just pair all of the old sensors to the new hub. They initially show ‘open’ after setup and will instantly update to ‘closed’ when I close the door but will never update to an ‘open’ state again after that. Hub, 2 door and window sensors, 1 motion sensor. So I’m trying to reset my tilt sensor to be able to connect to my new SmartThings hub. My first generation SmartThings hub crashed.
